“One or the best Mom decisions, that i made was taking my first class at fitness for you. I was a new mom with a 10 month old and looking for a way to get back into shape. Well not only did i get back into shape but I also made some great friends for me and my daughter. It is now 5 years later with a second kid in tow. One of the best parts of these classes is that it is a no judgement zone with the level of your fitness. The teachers adapt their classes to accommodate all levels. Plus Nina and Colleen are fantastic. They are so encouraging and supportive! ”
“Fitness4U class was the first real “mommy” activity I went to after the birth of my daughter and it was the best decision I could have made. I was struggling - mentally and physically - with my new identity as mom. I desperately wanted to get out of the house but debated not going - What if my baby started crying? Would I be strong enough to keep up with the class? Do I lug the whole car seat inside?! But as soon as I got there, I knew it was something special. Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. Over time, it became about much more than just the workouts (although they’re great, too!). It’s a place to ask questions, get advice, complain about lack of sleep and teething, and bond with other women who are also in the thick of raising small children. Fitness4U gave me confidence to get back into shape and reassurance that I’m doing ok with this whole parenting thing. It doesn’t matter if you have to stop your workout to nurse. Or you’re late because baby had a blowout as you were walking out the door. They GET it. More than four years and another child later, I’m still going and I’ve made some dear friends along the way. It sounds silly, but I truly believe my motherhood journey would have been a lot different if it weren’t for Fitness4U! I’m so happy to have found my village.”
“Fitness4U offers efficient and fun workouts suitable for every body with lots of modifications for prenatal & postpartum women and they prioritize keeping classes affordable. Beyond that (and most importantly) it fulfills an often overlooked need within the parenting community: the need for EACH OTHER. Encouraging moms to just get out of the house to come to class, even if you just end up feeding your infant or redirecting your toddler the entire time you are still always welcomed, embraced, and understood. ”
